When Denver, Colorado became the 'foreclosure capital of the U.S.' in 1989, it was time to leave for greener pastures.  I'd been in the apartment referral business there for about 10 years.  Moving to Las Vegas was great!  The population then was around 500,000 people...no Target, Walgreen's, OUTBACK Steakhouse...well, you get the idea.

My, how things have changed!  Now the 'chains' are beating the doors down to get in on our phenomenal growth and unlimited opportunities.  It's very exciting, yet sad at the same time.  It used to take 20 minutes to get anywhere you wanted--now, it takes twice as long.

Anyway, an associate and I opened Apartment Finding Service-an apartment referral service.  We intended to start the first referral agency in Las Vegas, but another agency opened up just two weeks before us, so we were second!  We built it into a very successful business over the last 15 years!

In 2003 I sold my half of the business and went into real estate sales--and I'm enjoying every minute of it! 

As an Accredited Staging Professional, "my sellers" take advantage my training and sell their houses for more money in less time!
